D'Angelo Russell With 14 Points In Return
4 years agoPlaying for the first time since Jan. 22 due to a quadriceps injury, Minnesota Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell scored 14 points on 3-for-11 shooting in Friday's loss to the 76ers. Russell also added four assists and a steal. It wasn't a great game, especially with a weakened Minnesota team that really needed Russell to take on a big scoring load. He wasn't able to do that, but he should be in a good position to put up better numbers on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, whose perimeter defense has plenty of holes in it.
