D'Angelo Russell Stays Aggressive
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell scored 20 points with nine rebounds, six assists, one block, four steals and two three-pointers on 9-for-22 shooting in Tuesday's road win against the Miami Heat. Russell has become Brooklyn's go-to offensive threat since Caris Levert (foot) suffered a gruesome looking foot injury slightly over a week ago, and he has led the way for the Nets with averages of 21.8 points, 6.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 3.4 triples on 44.7 percent shooting in LeVert's absence. Russell's stock is on the rise and can continue to ascend if he can find consistency.
