D'Angelo Russell Puts Up 27 Points With Seven Treys
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell had a season-high seven three-pointers with 12 attempts and ended up as the leading scorer with 27 points in a 105-104 win over Utah on Monday. He enjoyed a 10-for-16 shooting night overall with 12 assists, two rebounds and one block. Russell, who committed three turnovers in 31 minutes on Monday, has been on the bench since returning from a knee injury, but he's provided very good scoring by averaging 20 points in 12 games. The 25-year-old seems fully recovered with the team also using him in back-to-back situations, which is very good news for fantasy managers as a great matchup against Houston is coming up on Tuesday.
