D'Angelo Russell Puts Up 25 Points In Overtime Win
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell was the leading scorer in Monday's preseason tilt against Detroit, recording 25 points in 32 minutes. He needed 22 shots to get there, but overall his shooting wasn't all that bad as he finished 10-for-22 from the field, hitting 5-for-13 from deep. Russell didn't do much else in the 110-108 overtime win, grabbing just two rebounds and recording only one assist, but the Nets didn't really need anything besides scoring from him either in the game. The former Laker had some health issues and thus struggled at times last season, but he'll be a solid fantasy addition in 2018-19 if he can stay healthy.
