D'Angelo Russell Posts 23-Point, 10-Assist Double-Double
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell had a rocky ride in 2020-21, but he finished off the campaign with a nice performance, getting a 23-point, 10-assist double-double in a 136-121 win over Dallas. He shot 8-for-19 in the game with a 3-for-9 record from behind the arc and a 4-for-5 effort at the charity stripe. Russell registered three rebounds and three steals as well with two turnovers. The 25-year-old played only 41 games and even spent some time as a bench contributor. He averaged 19 points, 5.8 assists and 1.1 steals for the season. Russell is an exciting and productive player, but he's been injury-prone and fantasy managers have to keep this in mind come draft time.
