D'Angelo Russell Open To Moving On In Free Agency
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell has his immediate attention on the postseason. However, that doesn't mean he's not thinking about his impending free agency. "I would love to stay here," commented Russell when asked by The Athletic where he'd like to play in 2023-24. "I would have loved to be in Minnesota too. So wherever my feet are, that's where I'm gonna be." The 27-year-old was traded to LA before the deadline after playing for the Timberwolves since the 2019-20 campaign. He appeared in 17 regular season games for the Lakers, averaging 17.4 points and 6.1 assists while shooting a career-high 41.4% from deep. Without question, Russell has plenty to offer fantasy managers wherever he lands next. But he's been known to have some underwhelming fantasy performances over the years, and his inability to stay healthy has been an issue.
