D'Angelo Russell Leads Brooklyn Past Toronto
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell scored 29 points, including six in overtime, in the team's 106-105 win over Toronto on Friday. He made 13 of his 22 field goal attempts while shooting 2-for-6 from deep. Russell struggled to take care of the basketball, committing six turnovers, but he also recorded five rebounds and five assists. The Nets have struggled, but Russell himself is currently in the middle of a very good offensive stretch as he's scored at least 25 points in four of the last seven games. He'll have a nice matchup against the defensively poor Knicks on Saturday to keep it up.
