D'Angelo Russell Goes For 27 Points In Sunday's Win
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell missed only four shots and had 27 points off the bench in Sunday's victory over the Bulls, adding four assists and two rebounds with two turnovers in 26 minutes. He finished with 9-for-13 shooting from the field and with a 6-for-6 record at the foul line while sinking half of his six shots from deep. Russell has returned from a knee problem very strongly, and he gets a classic revenge game spot on Monday against the Nets, who dumped him to Golden State in 2019 to bring in Kevin Durant. However, with him fresh back from injury, the team might elect to keep him out of the matchup.
