D'Angelo Russell Gets 26 Points In 30 Minutes Thursday Night
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell had his second 26-point game in the first-round series against Philly on Thursday, shooting 12-for-26 from the field. He had a tough time finding his range from deep, finishing only 2-for-9 from downtown. Russell also picked up four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 30 minutes on the floor. The fourth-year guard was a minus-22 for the game, so his personal production unfortunately didn't translate into the team's success. Russell has so far averaged 22.3 field-goal attempts per game in the series and he's expected to carry the offense again on Saturday in Game 4.
