D'Angelo Russell Drops 26 Points In Loss To Portland
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell shot 9-for-16 from the field and 3-for-7 from beyond the arc in Thursday's blowout loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. He dropped 26 points in the game, but was out-dueled by Damian Lillard, who scored a season-high 39. Russell only had three assists in the game, which tied a season-low. He also added three rebounds and a block to go along with three turnovers. Russell is providing solid numbers on the year, averaging 20.0 points, 5.1 assists, 3.0 threes and 1.3 steals per game. He's a solid notch below the game's elite point guards but still has plenty of fantasy value. His next game will be on Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs.
