2 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift has been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for draft pick compensation. The 24-year-old back was rumored to be on the trade block after Detroit picked Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs with the No. 12 overall pick. Swift lands in a crowded backfield with Rashaad Penny and Kenneth Gainwell, but he's the highest-regarded back among the group. Gainwell has struggled to earn touches and Penny has struggled to stay healthy, so Swift could be a value in upcoming 2023 fantasy drafts. That said, the Eagles ranked dead last in RB targets last season and Jalen Hurts takes a ton of goal line touches, so expectations should be tempered.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
