D'Andre Swift Falls Short Of Expectations In Week 7
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift took 15 carries for 62 yards and caught all three of his targets for 13 yards during the team's 31-17 win over the Miami Dolphins. The 24-year-old was again the clear leader in the backfield, out-touching backup Kenneth Gainwell 18 to eight, but for the third week in a row, he failed to find the end zone as a runner. It was a bounce-back performance on the ground compared to Swift's Week outing against the New York Jets, where he took 10 carries for just 18 yards, but failing to score will see him finish as a low-end RB2 by the end of Week 7. Gainwell took a goal line touchdown away this week. Swift will have a rematch against the Washington Commanders in Week 8. The former Lion went for 56 yards on 14 carries and scored a touchdown in their last meeting. Swift will be considered a solid RB2 in that matchup.
