Dan Straily To Be Shut Down 4-5 Days
7 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Dan Straily (forearm) is dealing with tightness in his right forearm and will not throw for four to five days. The injury isn't believed to be serious, but it puts his availability for the first series of the regular season in jeopardy. Straily was the ace of the staff in 2017, going 10-9 with a 4.26 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 8.4 K/9 in a career-high 33 starts. Home runs can be a problem for him, but he can be a serviceable fantasy starter at the back of your rotation. This injury may help him to become more of a value pick, too.
