Dan Straily Pitches Well Against Tough Braves Lineup on Friday
6 years agoWill the real Dan Straily please stand up? After posting a 6.75 ERA and 2.13 WHIP in eight innings over his first two starts, Straily had his best outing of the year against the hot-hitting Braves on Friday, allowing three runs — two earned — on three hits and three walks while striking out five. While he did record five strikeouts for the first time since last September, he has now allowed 16 home runs over his last 12 starts. His next start is against the Dodgers, who are currently 27th in the league in home runs and are 13th in the league in strikeouts. If you want to take a risk, Straily could be a potential streaming option in that start.
