Dan Straily Feeling Good After Pitching Again
Dan Straily has started to throw again more than two weeks after suffering inflammation in his pitching arm, according to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro. Straily, who first felt the inflammation a few weeks into Spring Training, hasn't pitched since the middle of March. He began the season on the disabled list, which dealt a blow to an already thin Marlins rotation. Last season, Straily's 10 wins ranked second-most on the team behind Jose Urena. According to Frisaro, Straily hopes to return to the staff soon, though no timetable has been listed.
