Dan Arnold, Nine Other Jaguars Hit COVID-19 List
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars tight end Dan Arnold was one of 10 players from his squad placed on the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list Monday. Arnold was joined by fellow tight ends Luke Farrell and Chris Manhertz, leaving the team extremely thin at the position outside of James O'Shaughnessy if the trio are unable to clear protocols in time for Sunday's matchup with the Patriots. Arnold (knee) has been designated to return from injured reserve, not having taken the field since Week 12 due to a sprained MCL. The fourth-year tight end enjoyed a strong spell of performances from Weeks 5-10, amassing at least 60 receiving yards in four of his five outings. His placement on the Reserve/COVID-19 list likely keeps him on the periphery of season-long appeal for Week 17, although his absence could bump O'Shaughnessy into a starting spot in deeper formats or DFS lineups.
