Dan Arnold Impressing At Panthers Camp
3 years agoNewly signed Carolina Panthers tight end Dan Arnold has been impressing at camp this offseason, according to Ken Bradley of The Athletic. Arnold presents a big target (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) and isn't much of a blocker. To this point of his career, Arnold has been put in situations to catch the football. However, he also hasn't been much of a voluminous player, either. He hauled in a career-high 31 receptions and four touchdowns with the Cardinals a season ago. However, Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady said Arnold is "catching everything" from quarterback Sam Darnold at camp. Competition for targets at the tight end position isn't too heavy for Arnold, who is competing with Ian Thomas (20 receptions, one touchdown in 2020) for the top spot. Expect Arnold to be used in passing situations this season. He is currently going undrafted (ADP of 22.05), but he could be a strategic streamer in a pinch for your fantasy team this year.
