1 year agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Damiere Byrd (hamstring) suffered a severe hamstring injury last weekend and is expected to miss at least a month of action. The 30-year-old wide receiver caught just 13 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games with the Falcons last year, but his punt-returning ability could mean he'll make the Panthers' 53-man roster. However, he likely won't be on the fantasy football radar when he does return to health. He's slated to be behind Adam Thielen, DJ Chark, Jonathan Mingo, Terrace Marshall Jr., and potentially Laviska Shenault Jr. on the depth chart.
