Damian Lillard Posts First Career Triple-Double
5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard got to celebrate his first career triple-double on Wednesday when he had 36 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in a 125-112 win over Houston. He almost made it a quadruple-double as well with eight turnovers. Lillard shot 11-for-21 from the field and 6-for-12 from downtown on his way to posting a franchise record with a sixth consecutive 30-point game. Dame is averaging a league-best 33.1 points per game in January, and he gets to finish the month with a favorable matchup against the Lakers. Lillard has averaged 30 points with 8.5 assists in two games against them this season.
