Dalvin Cook Unlikely To Play In Week 3
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (ankle) is looking unlikely to play against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Cook injured his ankle during Week 2 and trended down throughout the week as he was unable to practice at all as the week progressed. The team had him listed as questionable on the final injury report, although the Vikings signing Ameer Abdullah to the 53-man roster on Saturday was a bad omen for Cook's availability. Backup running back Alexander Mattison is all of a sudden a low-end RB2 and an interesting name in DFS contests for this weekend. Fantasy gamers will want to check back for official inactives ahead of the 4:25 PM EST kickoff, but they should plan on being without Cook for Week 3.
