1 year agoAccording to ESPN's Adam Schefter, free-agent running back Dalvin Cook is expected to sign a one-year contract with the Jets that will allow him to earn up to $8.6 million in 2023-24. It appeared there was a chance the multi-time Pro Bowler would wait and pick at a team at some point during the season. But he's now heading to New York, where he should be a prominent member of the offense. However, with Breece Hall (knee) on the roster and on track to be ready for Week 1, Cook's production should dip from what fantasy managers have received over the years. But that doesn't mean he won't be a productive option moving forward, although his pass-catching prowess makes him better suited for PPR formats.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
