Dalton Schultz Sees Few Targets In Preseason Action
1 year agoHouston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (ribs) corraled two receptions on three targets for 10 yards in Saturday's 28-3 preseason loss to the Miami Dolphins. Seeing Schultz back in action after dealing with a rib injury out of camp was a relief. The 27-year-old signed a one-year, $nine million contract with the Texans this offseason. With little competition for Houston's starting tight end role, he should continue to be a check-down safety valve in the passing game for his new team. The former Dallas Cowboy will look to build on this performance next week in the team's final preseason game against the New Orleans Saints. Schultz has an NFFC ADP of 118 and is considered a borderline TE1 heading into fantasy drafts.
