Dalton Kincaid Practicing With Team On Thursday
1 year agoBuffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (thumb/shoulder) was seen at Thursday's practice wearing a red non-contact jersey. The rookie was participating in drills and catching passes ahead of the team's Week 15 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys. Kincaid saw a healthy amount of usage while fellow tight end Dawson Knox was out with a wrist injury, netting 31 receptions for 281 yards and two touchdowns while his veteran teammate was on injured reserve. With the rookie now ailing and Knox healthy again, the workload can be expected to be more balanced, as it had been in the first half of the season. Kincaid is not expected to miss Sunday's game, but managers should monitor further injury reports for developments. UPDATE: Kincaid was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday.

Dalton Kincaid Has Costly Drop In Loss To Chiefs
2 months agoBuffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid caught just two of his four targets for 13 yards during Sunday's AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The second-year tight end had a costly drop as a pass from Josh Allen hit off his hands with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. While some of the blame could be placed on less-than-perfect ball placement from Allen, the bottom line is that Kincaid's drop resulted in a turnover on downs, giving the ball back to the Chiefs, who were able to run out the clock. The Utah product finishes his second year in the NFL with just 50 catches, 519 yards, and two touchdowns through 16 total games between the regular season and playoffs. The first-round pick has not yet lived up to his potential, and he'll likely rank outside the top 12 tight ends heading into 2025 fantasy drafts.

Dalton Kincaid Could Struggle To Produce In AFC Championship
2 months agoBuffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid remains a risky option for fantasy managers and bettors ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 25-year-old has struggled to live up to his first-round price tag from the 2023 draft, but in his defense, he isn't the only Bills pass-catcher delivering subpar numbers lately. Amari Cooper hasn't met expectations since being acquired at the trade deadline, and rookie Keon Coleman remains an inconsistent option in the passing attack. In other words, it's been a subpar season for Buffalo pass-catchers not named Khalil Shakir. Unfortunately for Kincaid and his fantasy managers, the path doesn't get any easier. The Chiefs allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to tight ends during the regular season, holding the position to just 24.3 receiving yards per game.

Dalton Kincaid Catches One Pass In Win Over Ravens
3 months agoBuffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid caught one pass for 11 yards in the team's 27-25 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round of the playoffs. Kincaid's lone reception came on the first play of Buffalo's second drive. He was targeted just once more for the rest of the game. Josh Allen threw for 127 yards, a season-low mark, which resulted in poor receiving performances across the board for Buffalo's pass catchers (excluding Khalil Shakir). Kincaid's subpar season continues but the Bills did advance to the AFC Championship game to meet the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dalton Kincaid Remains A Middling TE Option Against Baltimore
3 months agoBuffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) continues to be underutilized in the Buffalo offense. It's a season-long trend, despite the belief the former first-round pick would break out in his second season. Kincaid caught three passes against Denver in the Wild Card round. It's the 12th time he's logged four receptions or fewer this season. Kincaid's recurring appearance on the injury report with a knee ailment is a non-issue. He's fully practiced for weeks. However, it's difficult to envision a spot for him in DFS lineups given his subpar play.
