Stars Reach Two-Year Agreement with Anton Khudobin
6 years agoThe Dallas Stars signed goaltender Anton Khudobin to a two-year, $5 million contract on Sunday. Khudobin, coming off a season in Boston in which he posted 16 wins, a 2.56 goals against average and a .913 save percentage, comes to Dallas to serve in a backup capacity to starting netminder Ben Bishop. However, considering Ben Bishop's injury history, the Stars will likely look to keep their starting goaltender healthy and rested. As a result, Khudobin should play around 25 games next season and could be a legitimate pick-up for fantasy owners should Bishop suffer an injury at any point of the season.
