Dallas Keuchel Signs Minor League Deal With Rangers
2 years agoThe Texas Rangers signed starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel to a minor league contract Monday, per The Athletic's Levi Weaver. He will report to Triple-A Round Rock. The 34-year-old made 12 starts with the White Sox and Diamondbacks this season, compiling a poor 2-7 record with an 8.53 ERA and 2.03 WHIP before last being designated for assignment in July. The lefty had been a fantasy contributor for much of his career, but he hasn't been able to find success since 2020. Keuchel does not present any fantasy value at this time, as he will need to first make his way back to the big leagues and then prove that he can pitch somewhat effectively.
