Dallas Goedert Gashes Cardinals For 95 Yards
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught eight of his nine targets, gaining 95 yards, during the team's 20-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals Sunday. The 27-year-old led Philadelphia in receiving yards and was hyper-targeted by quarterback Jalen Hurts to exploit the Cardinals' secondary, who were allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to the position heading into the contest. The nine targets were one shy of his combined total from the previous two weeks. Goedert likely won't see more than six targets in most matchups moving forward, but he is still a focal point of the offense and will continue to produce consistent fantasy numbers. The fifth-year tight end will look to follow up this performance at home next week against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys, who just gave up seven receptions to Rams tight end Tyler Higbee in Week 5. Goedert should be considered a mid-range TE1 next week.
