Dallas Goedert Could Remain An Eagle
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was non-committal about whether he might still be traded, per the team's transcript. "Dallas is part of the team as we speak," said Roseman. "Obviously, as we go forward, we're going to continue to address things on this team and right now nothing further." There's been speculation that Philadelphia would move on from the veteran, due to his $11.7 million cap hit and zero guaranteed money heading into 2025. However, the Eagles did not opt to draft a tight end in a class with a myriad of intriguing names; instead, they brought in free agent tight ends Kylen Granson and Harrison Bryant. Teammate Grant Calcaterra will return for his fourth season with the team, too, but Goedert is far and away the best of that bunch. If he can stay healthy, 2025 could be a productive season for him, though that seems unlikely as he's played just one full season in seven years as a pro.
