2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will face the New York Giants Saturday in the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs. Since returning from his shoulder injury, the 28-year-old has played only one game with starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, and it was against the Giants in Week 18. He caught 6-of-7 targets and gained 46 yards. Even though wide receiver A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith will be the top two targets for Hurts, plenty will be funneled to the veteran tight end. Other solid options are still available at the tight end position for those playing in DFS tournaments, like Travis Kelce, George Kittle, Dalton Schultz, and Evan Engram. However, Goedert was one of the most consistent contributors at the position before his injury and is a great option for those looking to save money at the position.
