Dallas Cowboys Defense Does Not Allow A Touchdown On Thursday
2 months agoThe Dallas Cowboys defense had a nice bounce-back outing on Thursday evening as they did not allow a touchdown en route to defeating the New York Giants. This was a nice step in the right direction for one of the top defenses in football last season, as they served up 72 points over the past two weeks. On Thursday, they contained the New York offense when they approached the red zone as kicker Greg Joseph put all 15 points on the board himself. The Cowboys tallied one interception late in the game, courtesy of Amani Oruwariye, and one sack, thanks to edge rusher DeMarcus Lawrence. However, the Cowboys could be without Micah Parsons (ankle), who suffered an ankle injury last night and had to be carted off. Nonetheless, fantasy managers should continue to view Dallas as a high-end defense heading into Week 5 when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers.
