2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals right-handed pitcher Dakota Hudson (neck) was placed on the 15-day IL Friday with a neck strain. Hudson sustained the injury in his start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday. The injury isn't expected to keep Hudson on the IL for long, but it should be noted that Steven Matz is likely returning to the Cardinals rotation soon and it could be Hudson that loses his spot considering his poor numbers this season. Hudson has a 6-6 record, 4.10 ERA, and 1.36 WHIP to go along with 53 strikeouts in 96 ⅔ IP. He shouldn't be rostered outside of the deepest of fantasy leagues, especially with his rotation spot in jeopardy.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
