Dak Prescott Returns To Practice Thursday
2 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (thumb) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. It was the 29-year-old's first time practicing since injuring his thumb. Prescott said he felt "great" after his first throwing session on Wednesday after right thumb surgery. He is progressing but is not expected to start Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys are 4-0 with Cooper Rush under center and won't rush Prescott back from his thumb injury. Prescott will likely return in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions, while Rush will draw one more start in Week 6 against Philadelphia.
