3 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (calf) was sore on Friday after ramping up the intensity in practice on Thursday, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. "It's more than just one game. We're obviously in our seventh game, so there is a ton of football left to play," McCarthy said on a decision on Prescott's status for Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings. The 28-year-old's status is in doubt for this week after he strained his calf in Week 6, even though he had last week's bye to rest up. The Cowboys are playing things extra cautious with their star signal-caller after he missed most of last season with a broken ankle.
