D.J. Moore Gets More Usage In Week 5
6 years agoCarolina Panthers rookie wide receiver D.J. Moore had the highest usage of his NFL career in the encounter against the New York Giants in Week 5. Moore had four targets in the game, catching all of those to finish the game with four receptions for 49 yards. He also was able to rush for a further 18 yards on the ground. Going forwards the signs are there for Moore to be utilized more in the Panthers attack. Devin Funchess has had limited production so far this season with the coverage that he has attracted, and even with running back Christian McCaffrey and tight end Greg Olsen in the team, Moore will likely see increased looks going forward.
