D.J. Moore A Solid WR2 Against The Jets
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore has a favorable matchup on tap against the Jets in Week 1. Moore placed inside the top-20 wideouts in targets with 118 last season, totaling 66 catches for 1,193 yards and four touchdowns, along with a career-best 18.1 yards per reception. The 24-year-old looked the part of a target hog in the preseason, showing a nice rapport with Sam Darnold, which should lead to a fair amount of looks for Moore this season, even with Christian McCaffrey expected to command an elite target share. The Jets defense surrendered the third-most receiving touchdowns and the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts in 2020. Moore should be locked into lineups as a rock-solid WR2 in Week 1.
