Curtis Samuel In The WR3 Conversation
4 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel returned to practice Friday after the team activated him from the Reserve/COVID list. Samuel's return comes at a good time for the Panthers' offense, as they'll be without Christian McCaffrey (shoulder, quad) and D.J. Moore (COVID-19) for the contest against the Broncos. The 24-year-old has exceeded 70 receiving yards in three of his last four games- and could see more of a rushing role with McCaffrey sidelined. It's a bit of a tough matchup with Denver, but Samuel's involvement in the offense should make him a good WR3 play in the flex spot.
