Curtis Samuel Has Productive Day In Week 7
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel caught five-of-eight targets for 53 yards along with five carries for 26 yards during Sunday's win over the Green Bay Packers. After a forgettable Week 6, the former Buckeye came onto the scene in Week 7 with the usage fantasy managers had grown accustomed to over the first half of the season. His work on the ground was something that fans hadn't seen much of since the first few weeks of the season, but it certainly has correlated to some of Washington's better offensive performances. Samuel will likely continue to see his short-yardage targets week to week, but this could be a step in the right direction as far as his rushing usage goes. We'll see if the Commanders continue to use him in this all-purpose role against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8.
