Curtis Samuel Could Continue Solid Production In Week 2
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel is in line to build on his strong Week 1 showing. After dealing with injuries in the 2021 season, the 26-year-old finally had a chance to show what he could provide for the Washington offense as he demonstrated shiftiness and an ability to create yards. The former Buckeye's usage looked similar to that of Deebo Samuel, as he saw plenty of passes near the line of scrimmage while also receiving carries out of the backfield. The Commanders are facing off against the Detroit Lions in Week 2, a team that allowed 455 total yards to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1. Against a struggling defense, Samuel could easily continue to showcase his multidimensional skillset as a solid flex play this week.
