Curtis Mead Bounces Back With A Hot July
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays' infield prospect Curtis Mead has been on fire since returning from a wrist injury that sidelined him for nearly two months. The 22-year-old is slashing .417/.478/.633 over 15 games for Triple-A Durham in July. He has also walked eight times with only four strikeouts. While Mead has only hit one home run since his June 30 return, fantasy managers should remain patient, as power can take a little longer when returning from wrist injuries. He showed blossoming power with 13 homers in just 76 games in 2022. Mead remains a strong dynasty asset, and given recent injuries in Tampa, an August promotion is not out of the question.
