Curtis McElhinney Looking To Protect Perfect Record At Minnesota
6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Curtis McElhinney will make his third start of the year Saturday in a road game against Minnesota, looking to protect his perfect record. He's won both starts comfortably so far, allowing two goals per game with a .930 save percentage. The Canes have been buzzing at the start of the season, scoring goals for fun and picking up three wins on the bounce, so they'll head to St. Paul with great confidence. McElhinney has posted a 2-1-1 record in previous five career appearances against the Wild with a 2.22 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.
