1 year agoOn Tuesday, Spire Motorsports announced that Kevin "Bono" Manion will become crew chief for Ty Dillon, beginning this Sunday at Richmond Raceway. 2023 has been a rough season for the third-generation driver, as his average finishing position is just 28.38. Fans of the No. 77 Chevy should be excited about this move, as Manion is a proven winner. Not only was he the crew chief for Martin Truex Jr.'s back-to-back Busch Series championship seasons in 2004 and 2005, but he also won the Daytona 500 with Jamie McMurray in 2010.
