4 months agoThe Chicago Cubs will promote second base prospect James Triantos to Triple-A Iowa. Triantos earns the promotion after hitting .300 with five triples, seven homers, 40 RBI and 38 stolen bases. The 22-year-old doesn't offer much power, but he has very good contact skills that gets him on-base, where is he has the speed to rack up stolen bases. With his lack of power, he does not offer much yet in the fantasy world, but the Cubs No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline is certainly worthy of being added to the watch-list in dynasty leagues. While he is still in between positions in the infield, the Cubs have Michael Busch, Nico Hoerner, Dansby Swanson and Isaac Paredes all locked in for the 2025 season, meaning Triantos would really need to turn heads in Spring Training or an injury to happen to break camp.
