CT Scans On Yandy Diaz's Forearm Come Back Clean
1 year agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz (forearm) underwent a CT scan on his left forearm, which came back clean. According to Rays manager Kevin Cash, everything came back good from Diaz's scan, and he is expected to avoid the injured list. The 32-year-old was dealing with soreness in his forearm and sat out Saturday's game against the Yankees after being hit by a pitch on Friday. He is slashing .326/.403/.507 with 17 home runs, 66 RBI, and 78 runs over 111 games in 2023. Diaz is considered day-to-day, with his next chance to return to the lineup being Sunday against the Yankees.
