3 years agoSan Diego Padres relief pitcher Craig Stammen might end up joining the starting rotation before the regular season is over. Manager Jayce Tingler said the team isn't ruling him using Stammen as a starter. He went two innings during a spot start in June and will get the nod against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday. The team will continue to let him go as long as possible, assuming he feels good on the mound. That means, Stammen could go four or five innings eventually if he is pitching well. It's unknown if the 37-year-old would have long term success as a starter at this point. Although, his fantasy value could be on the rise here soon.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
