Craig Reynolds Has Deep-League Flex Appeal
2 years agoDetroit Lions running back Craig Reynolds looks to be the team's RB2 behind Jamaal Williams if D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) is out in Week 4. Swift is more than likely going to be inactive, so Reynolds should enter the fantasy radar, at least in deep leagues. Reynolds had handled 11 touches this season as the third-string running back, and there's a chance he could match that total as Williams' backup. Williams will dominate red zone and goal line touches, but Reynolds has proven capable of running the ball effectively. Last season, he logged two games with over 80 rushing yards, and the team decided to keep him on the 53-man roster over Jermar Jefferson and Josh Jackson. Nothing is a guarantee here, but for fantasy managers in a bind, Reynolds is a solid dart throw.
