5 years agoChicago Cubs closer Craig Kimbrel (knee) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right knee swelling. The Cubs bullpen has struggled and the loss of Kimbrel won’t help. Steve Cishek is the top candidate for saves with Kimbrel sidelined, but manager Joe Maddon may choose to play the matchups.
