3 years agoChicago Cubs closer Craig Kimbrel picked up his 19th save of the season in Thursday's victory versus the New York Mets. Kimbrel worked a 1-2-3 inning and struck out two batters. The veteran has been lights out this season and now owns a microscopic 0.64 ERA on the season. Kimbrel had question marks entering the season and managers that were willing to gamble have been seeing a huge pay off.
