Cowboys Want To Bring Back Cedrick Wilson
3 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys want to re-sign impending free-agent wide receiver Cedrick Wilson. The Cowboys are expected to trade or release Amari Cooper, who was slated to make $20 million in 2022. With those savings, the Cowboys plan to re-sign both Wilson and Michael Gallup. They could also go after another pass-catcher in the draft or through free agency, but CeeDee Lamb should enter next season as Dallas' unquestioned No. 1 receiver. Wilson took a leap forward in his third NFL season, posting career-highs in catches (45), targets (61), receiving yards (602) and touchdowns (six) in 16 regular season games. The 26-year-old should be more appealing in 2022 with Cooper out of the picture, but it also depends on what other names the Cowboys add at the position.
