NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Dallas Cowboys are internally discussing whether to trade All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons or to sign him to a monster contract extension this offseason that would surely make him the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL. Executive vice president Stephen Jones expressed hesitation earlier this year about tying up a large chunk of the team's money in one player, but the Cowboys haven't made any final decisions on their plan with Parsons this offseason. Despite missing four games in 2024 due to an ankle injury, the 25-year-old managed to record 12 sacks in 13 games played, marking the fourth straight season he's had at least 12 sacks for the Cowboys. He's heading into the final year of his rookie contract. If Dallas chooses to trade Parsons, there will be no shortage of suitors.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
