Cowboys Release Brice Butler
6 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys released wide receiver Brice Butler on Monday in order to make room on the roster after they acquired Amari Cooper from the Raiders for a first-round pick. Butler missed his only target this year for Dallas in just two games. Cooper will immediately become the team's No. 1 wideout, but he'll have to learn a new offense and could remain hit or miss for fantasy owners in the short term. His presence will undoubtedly hurt the already low ceilings of receivers Cole Beasley, Allen Hurns and rookie Michael Gallup.
