Cowboys, Osa Odighizuwa Agree To Four-Year Extension
2 mins agoThe Dallas Cowboys and defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa agreed on a four-year, $80 million deal on Tuesday that includes $58 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Agent Sam Leaf Ireifej negotiated the deal. The 26-year-old former third-round pick (75th overall) in 2021 out of UCLA was able to work out an extension with the Cowboys, so Dallas was able to avoid placing the franchise tag on him. In his first four years in the NFL, he ha recorded 172 tackles (99 solo), 13.5 sacks, 28 tackles for loss, 58 QB hits and two forced fumbles in 67 games (63 starts). Odighizuwa's best season came in 2024, where he compiled career-highs in tackles (47), sacks (4.5) and QB hits (23) in 17 starts. The Cowboys will now turn to working on an extension with All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons, who is in line to become one of the highest-paid defensive players in the league.
